Using Scratch for the first time!

 Mr Goodwin introduced our class to Scratch today. It was really fun!

We made our own version of the video game Pong! Once we followed the tutorial some of us were able to make our games really silly, like each time you score a point you get 1 Million points instead!

We can’t wait to learn more about Scratch soon!

New Class Site

 Room 6 has a brand new Class Site!

Miss Hiskens created a new fabulous class site for our Class.

Good Old Fashion Hose down

 

The school pool was closed due to technical problems. However, Room 6 boys still managed to get wet by improvising and getting the garden hose out. They were able to cool down and have loads of fun at the same time.  Tu Meke!!!

Room 6 had an exciting first week back to school by having loads of team building and fun

 

Welcome To The New School Year

 "I'm so glad to be back at GTS teaching in Room 6. I hope that we all have a safe and enjoyable year filled with lots of learning and loads of fun!"

New Pool Shade!!

 On our first day back to school Room 6 visited the school pool. We were pleasantly surprised to see the new shade sails that were erected during lockdown. 

Room 6 created paper boats to float in our upgraded school pool.

 This is my Lockdown routine (with time stamps)

8:00 - 8:30 Wake up

8:45 - 8:50 Get ready, Breakfast and prep for class.

9:00 - 9: 45 Class time!

10:00 - 11:35 Help out with parents🙄 (#fine)

11:35 - 12:50 Set up for class again

1:00 - 1:45 Class time!

1:25 - 4:30 more free time yay!

6:30 Dinner time! 

The rest do whatever you want lol.
