Zoo Persuasive Writing By Drevyn

The Zoo Debate

I am against zoos because animals need to live their life to the fullest like us humans. That is why I am against zoos. They should stay in the wild like how we stay in our homes. They should be in the jungle being free. My teacher told the class that when he and his son went to the zoo he saw the flamingos trying to fly free but they had know wings. I think that the zoo keeper did it so they can’t leave the zoo. That is sad. I feel sorry for the zoo animals.

Animals should be in the wild because in the zoo they can be lonely because they could have taken the baby or the mum or dad. They can be really lonely, which is sad for the animals. Some of the animals can not have that much space because there can be so many animals in one like birds in cages they can get older and then they can get really smashed and can probably die in the cage with no air and can not breath properly and that is sad when they die.

Zoos should not be allowed because you can go online to look at animals because sometimes you can not pat them and you are just wasting money and if you do not have a phone you can watch it on the tv.  You can learn more by going to the library and reading a lot of books about animals. You can learn as much as just going to the zoo.Animals can get bored because they probably have to get ready everyday and that is kinda boring like every morning yeah that will be really boring.

Zoos should not be here because some zoos just like to get big animals like tigers and elephants and like lions but some do not like to get small animals like mia cat and spider monkeys and little animals like that is really sad. I feel sorry for them.

Room 6 has been learning about making connections

1. When you have connections you feel happier

2. When you don't have connections you feel sad

3. Volunteering is a great way to get connections

4. Usually people with no connections tend to play video games

5.Going for walks with people is a good way to get connected with someone

3 minute Lockdown quick write By Pasimati Year 5

One glorious day there was a beautiful white bunny.

She was walking by the stream and then fell in.

She could not swim. She was squealing for her ideal

life. Then a kindhearted lion came upon her then

helped her up. They decided to use animal

language and said thanks.

The end!

Keeping our device Safe during Lockdown By Layarnah Year 5

1. You have to stay  on a table  or on   your  bed   and   your lounge with your  chromebook.
2. And   don't  eat   in   front   of  your  chromebook.
3. Don't go  on inappropriate  staff  because  you  might  get  a  growling  from the  teacher or  your  parents.
4. Put  your chromebook   in  a  high  place  where  your sister  can't  get  it  and hide  it  from
your  older  brothers if  you  have  to.
5. Do  your homework  instead of  playing a game because  it's only  a  learning device learning device.
6. Charge your chromebook not  before  it  turns off because if  you  don't  it will  be up  to  ziro.
7. No  going  to  the  toilet   with  it  or  you  might forget it in their  and your   brothers  might put  it  in  the  rubbish bin   to  think  that  it's rubbish.
8. Being   on  the  right  things  at  the  right time  when  no  one  is  looking.
9.  Clean  the  chromebook   but   first  you  have  to  make  sure that  the  cloth  is not   that  wet  that  much   or  the  chrome   will  be  wet and  it  will  cost  so  much   to   repair   the  chromebook.
10.  Make  sure  you  have  your  Camera  on so  the  teacher  can  see   what   you  are  doing  and  to  see  you.
11. I  believe  that  we  should  clean  our  hands   when  we  have touched   something   that  was  dirty  then   you can go  on  your  chromebook.
12. Don’t   press  your  keyboards hard  or  they  might  break  and then  your  parents   have  to  repair it.

The chewed up pencil.

The chewed up pencil

The pencil was cheap looking, it had scratches that looked like it was from wild cats.

It's saving grace was that it was sharp, very sharp.

Sharp enough to pierce through a coat and stab a human.

I usually pretended that my pencil was like a dark red lightsaber

used in the movie star wars.

Teeth marks at the top from someone that had teeth sharp like a shark

made it look like it got scratched from Aquaman's pitchfork .

The long munched up pencil is now in my secret safe that nobody will use.

It  is my special pencil that I will keep even when I am a grandpa.

My chewed up pencil can still draw and sketch and does the trick.
